Pottery
The pottery studio is available for use by EAA members who also have Pottery membership. We offer both hand building and wheel throwing equipment. The studio is open every Wednesday + the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from around 10am until 2pm. Come and try for 1-2 sessions at just $2 per session before joining!
We provide a limited range of clays, underglazes and glazes for purchase in small quantities, plus general tools and equipment for members to use.
We arrange workshops periodically and share our knowledge.
Community Kiln
We are excited to announce that we now have a community kiln, available for local potters to have items fired. Our kiln is run by a couple of EAA members / local kiln assistants. This service is provided by Eyre Arts Action and is located at the ArtEyrea building. If you wish to utilise this service, please download and read the kiln firing agreement, and print and complete the pottery firing service form.
Printmaking
The print studio is available for use by EAA members who also have print membership. The studio is open every Wednesday and at other times by arrangement with ArtEyrea management.
Use of an etching press and large drying racks is available to members after a short induction. Come and try for 1-2 sessions at just $2 per session before joining!
